These easy freezable meals are perfect for new moms and busy families! Prepping freezer meals is the smart thing to do so that a hot meal is ready whenever you need it!
One of the biggest things I did to prepare before my kids were born is prep some freezer meals! These freezable meals are perfect for new moms, or even just busy moms on the go!
Let me tell you what a lifesaver it is to have dinner ready in the freezer to pop in the oven after a long day of mom-ing.
When my daughter Annaliese was born, my husband was changing jobs and entering a “busy season” for work. This meant I had two under two years old, all by myself for the entire day.
We’re lucky my husband works from home, but he would spend all day (and sometimes all evening) up in his office learning his new job and trying to impress the big guys.
Thank goodness for the help of my mom and family. But I also had tons of these meals prepped for when the days are long and we need to eat.

Having meals in the freezer is a great way to think ahead
I still make large batches of our favorite recipes to save for the freezer. It’s such a great time-saving hack that every mom needs to try!
After long days of work, running the kids around, and doing all of my other duties, sometimes dinner is the last think I want to think about. These freezer meals really help alleviate that stress!
You may notice that many of these recipes use an Instant Pot. If you haven’t jumped on the pressure cooker bandwagon yet, it might be time to give it a try.
It’s perfect for moms like me that aren’t big planners when it comes to dinner. I can cook chicken from frozen in less than 30 minutes!
The Instant Pot is an essential appliance in our house, and I think you’ll love it, too!
If you’re hard against the pressure cooker, don’t worry. There are plenty of recipes on this list that don’t use the Instant Pot, too!
Best way to store food in the freezer
There are many different ways to store meals in the freezer!
Ziplock bags are a great thing to have on hand. Make sure you buy the good brands, though. Some do not hold as well as others, and having to clean up a spill in the freezer is opposite of time saving.
Aluminum trays and throwaways are great for convenience, too!
However, if you are looking to be more environmentally conscious, I’d recommend getting some containers like this. In addition to being reusable, these food storage containers are large enough to store a few servings.
If you have picky eaters in your family, freezing individual servings can be a smart idea so that everyone gets what they want.
Here are some amazing recipes from bloggers across the web that are easy to make and store in the freezer.
