Best overnight diapers
#1. Huggies Overnites Diapers
The Huggies Overnites diapers are by far our favorite brand. We have found that they leak much less than other brands and are still soft and comfortable. Though they are more expensive than some of the other brands, we only need one diaper per night (we were using more than one with other brands.)
You can get a box of 66 Huggies Overnites for $26.99 (size 3.)
Tip: try going up a diaper size at nighttime to help protect against leaks.
#2 Honest Company Overnight Diapers
Honest Company also has a quality overnight diaper. I love the cute designs and that they are made with more gentle ingredients, but they are much more expensive than other nighttime diapers.
I also feel that these night diapers aren’t as soft as other brands. However, they are comparable to Huggies in their fit and absorption. In the short time that I used Honest diapers, I did have a couple of instances where they leaked around the thighs. For the most part they seem to be a good diaper, though.
You can purchase a box of 60 Honest Company Overnight Diapers for $25.99 (size 3).
#3 Target Overnight Diapers
You may be surprised to find Target brand diapers above Pampers, but I think they are a great, cost-effective nighttime diaper. They aren’t quite as absorbent as other brands, but they have a nice fit and are snug around the waist and legs. I would definitely recommend using a Sposie pads with the Target brand night diapers to help with the absorption, but they are great for moms on-a-budget!
You can buy the Target Overnight Diapers for $14.89 for a pack of 88 (size 3).

#4 Pampers Overnights
Pampers overnight diapers are one of my least favorite night diapers. They are as pricey as the other name brand diapers, but they are significantly thinner. They fill up quickly leaving your baby with a huge, saggy diaper before the night is over.
If you are going to use Pampers Overnights, make sure you have a coupon. Big name stores like Target, Amazon and BJ’s often have coupons for Pampers brand diapers (at the time I am writing this, Amazon has a $3 off coupon).
You can purchase a box of 66 Pampers Overnight Diapers for $24.94 (size 3).

Mom hack: make any diaper “overnight” with Sposie Pads
One of my favorite mom hacks is adding a diaper pad booster to overnight diapers.
Sposie Diaper Booster Pads are a well-kept secret to help prevent diaper leakage! You place one long pad into your usual diaper at bedtime and it helps absorb extra liquid. I recommend using the pads in a nighttime diaper, though you can put it in a daytime diaper as well to make it more like an overnight diaper.
They are fairly inexpensive at about $30 for a package of 90 on Amazon.
Sposie makes two kinds of pads: one with an adhesive strip to hold the pad in place and one without. I have tried both, and the adhesive is definitely not necessary. If the diaper is snug, the pad does not move. Sposie pads are so simple to use and is comfortable for your child, too!
Using nighttime diapers and pads has prevented a lot of leakage! On nights where we haven’t used the diapers with pads, my kids sometimes wake up early feeling cold and wet. It ends up creating a lot more laundry for me and results in all of us getting less sleep. Though we end up buying two products, it saves us a lot of frustration, laundry, and time to just put our kids in the best overnight diapers with a pad.
Whether your child is a tummy sleeper, side sleeper, or a back sleeper, they will sleep better being dry and warm!
